Trust for the Americas (OAS)
The Trust for the Americas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization affiliated with the Organization of American States (OAS). It was established in 1997 to promote public and private sector participation in social and economic development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. Since then, The Trust has implemented projects in 24 countries and worked with over 1,000 organizations in the region. The Trust for the Americas initiatives, implemented through local partner organizations, seek to promote educational and economic opportunities as well as government accountability and transparency. Through the evolution of the region, The Trust continues to endure by facing challenges through strategic partnerships that promote cooperation for sustainable results.
